II. Revitalization Coaching
Revitalization is about thinking in a new way and trying new things to help your church grow deeper and larger. Many churches today have noticed a decline in attendance from what it was 5 or 10 years ago. If this is true of your church, your Director of Missions and others are available to help your leaders brainstorm about new ideas for growth in Worship, Discipleship, Fellowship, Ministry and Missions. We can have a one-time 2 hour meeting, a half-day retreat, a series of several meetings or a once-a-month one hour coaching relationship to help your leaders throughout the year. What group might benefit from coaching: teachers, deacons, staff, missions committee, long-range planning group or church council.
III. College Student Internships for Association Missions
For college students who want to learn about helping churches grow wider and deeper - how they can reach out to their community and make disciples. This training involves a weekly small group, reading assigned books, Bible study, community service and helping local churches. Contact the Mid-State Baptist Association if you are interested in more information.
